JUVENILE / SCHOOLS
FELLOW IRISH SOCIETIES
Which team do you look forward to playing the most and why?:
I’d probably say Abu Dhabi and I’d have to throw Sharjah in there too. Always a feisty one! Plenty of skin and hair flying.
Favorite Restaurant in Dubai:
Taqado. As you can see I do love a burrito or three.
Favourite band or musician?:
I’d be a big Oasis fan, but a live gig by Christy Moore is serious going.
Growing up who was your all-time favourite player?:
It’d have to be Ciaran McDonald. An absolute wizard with the ball in hand. What a left peg!
If you could be another teammate for a week who would it be and why?
Stevie Keane would take that one. What I’d give to be as rapid as he is.
Who is your dream date?:
I’m not going to be caught out here. I’d have to say my other half, Lisa, but if I was a single man Michelle Keegan would be first on my list.
Which teammate would be voted off Big Brother first and who would win?:
I’d go with James Docs. Don’t think the house would get or like his banter. He’d be constantly winding people up left, right and centre.
What is your nick name?:
I don’t know. You’d have to ask the lads. I’d say there’s one or two doing the rounds.
What is your favourite movie?:
Rainman. Great show!
If you could attend any sporting event in the world, what would it be?:
You can’t beat All Ireland Final day. Even as a Mayo man it’s still something special to witness.
What would you change about GAA games (if any)?:
That’s tough. When I think about it overall, and the championship needs restructuring properly and a master’s fixtures list for both codes. It’d help everyone out.
In ten years I hope to be:
Still involved playing some sort of ball at a decent standard. Hopefully I’ll make it to 40 and pack it in at that.
