- Growing up who was your all-time favourite player?::Being from Wexford, it has to be Matty Forde! He would have made any forward line in the country in his prime, also Ciaran McDonald- effortlessly brilliant
- If you could be another teammate for a week who would it be and why?: A toss up between one of our newest recruits Ronan O’Neill. (Who could resist his chiseled facial features and rippling six pack) And 2, Aindreas Doyle- Now a stalwart of the club, he can be seen sporting a Zeus-like beard us mere mortals could only dream of.
- Who is your dream date?::Mila Kunis
- Which teammate would be voted off Big Brother first and who would win?:: Paul Downes- out the door after 5 minutes - the only man on this earth that speaks of himself in the third person or refers to himself as the “Main Event†I doubt the voters would take to kindly to him. Shane Fowley – He’s seen many people come and go in his time in Dubai, I imagine Big Brother would be no different.
- What is your nick name?::Dunbar- long story behind that one!
- What is your favourite movie?::The Departed
- If you could attend any sporting event in the world, what would it be?::All Ireland Final/ 100m Olympic Sprint Final – if you could believe all athletes were clean!
- What would you change about GAA games (if any)?::Give formal recognition to the Club Players Association.
- In ten years I hope to be::in the winners enclosure at Cheltenham after my horse has won the Gold Cup!
Biography
Secretary Originally from Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, I am a Primary School Teacher working in International Concept for Education, (ICE School) in Meydan , Dubai. I graduated from Froebel College of Education, (Now Maynooth University) in 2014 and moved over to Dubai in August 2015. I am heading into my third season with Dubai Celts, having joined the Dubai Celts as soon as I arrived. Like so many others the GAA in the Middle East has proved to be up there with the highlights of my time in the UAE. I am thoroughly enjoying my role on the committee so far and I look forward to the coming season.
